Remedy & Company Embarks on a New Challenge ～Beyond Clinical Development Support Services～

We are pleased to announce that Remedy & Company Corporation (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Founder and CEO Masakuni Ukita and hereinafter “Remedy & Company”) has launched a new business venture in the field of "Virtual Entertainment."

At Remedy & Company, we have long been dedicated to addressing numerous medical challenges through our core business of providing Clinical Research Organization (CRO) services for Clinical development. We have come to believe deeply in the potential of digital technology to resolve these issues. Providing solutions to these challenges aligns with our mission to become a leading "Health-Tech Platform." It is this mission and our firm determination to bring it to life that have inspired the launch of our new "Virtual Entertainment" business.

The concept for our Virtual Entertainment business was inspired by the profound impact that Vtubers have in soothing and warming people's hearts. This realization sparked our ambition to collaborate with Vtubers and extend the reach of healthcare and comfort from Japan to the world. Our goal is to leverage the power of creativity and content to transcend the boundaries of reality and non-reality, borders, and time, to offer new forms of healthcare and solace to people globally. In addition to this vision, we believe that Remedy & Company's expertise in developing digital solutions—such as clinical data management platforms and XR (Extended Reality) content—uniquely positions us to deliver new value to the world. By combining these innovative capabilities with our mission, we aim to create unprecedented forms of medical care and healing experiences for individuals everywhere.

As the first step in our new venture into the Virtual Entertainment business, we are thrilled to announce that we have signed a talent management contract with the Vtuber Hiyo Amai, who is known as the “Apprentice Sister Cat from Another World.”

Moving forward, we will continue our mission at Remedy & Company to "Create the future with technology, change the world, and remedy through innovation," aiming to pursue further challenges.
